2012 Holiday Donations

| In 2012, we made wonderful toy donations to Toys For Tots, children's hat and glove donations to Polk County Health Department's Mitten Tree, purchased presents for children involved with Polk Co's Family Enrichment Center and provided food bags worth approximately $100 each to 40 local families through our annual Christmas Basket Program. |

Winter Storm 2009 Award
|
| The Iowa House of Representative honored all State, County, and City road workers for their diligent work in clearing snow and ice from Iowa's vital road network during a near record-breaking season. AFSCME Iowa Council 61 also recognized Locals with these members. A shadow box was crafted by member Todd Copley to hold both special awards and it was presented to Polk County's Road Workers on April 21, 2010.
